Application & Service Specialist

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an Application & Service Specialist to provide expert application and technical support for laboratory instruments across distributors and hospital customers, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and alignment with regional standards.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver expert application support to distributors and hospital customers via phone, email, and on-site visits.

• Support multiple laboratory product lines, including blood gas and hemostasis systems, ensuring proper application and technical guidance.

• Conduct technical troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks, including alignment, part replacement, and minor repairs.

• Collaborate with Southeast Asia regional teams for trainings, updates, and knowledge sharing.

• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of application activities, service visits, and customer interactions.

• Participate in fieldwork as required, carrying necessary tools and equipment for machine operation and maintenance.

• Work independently as part of a small, specialized team while contributing to regional objectives.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in application or service support within an in vitro diagnostics (IVD), laboratory, or medical technology environment.

• Background in laboratory sciences, medical technology, or allied sciences (licensed professionals preferred).

• Experience supporting distributors and hospital clients, with strong problem-solving and technical skills.

• Technical proficiency in handling laboratory instruments and performing minor maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with regional and international teams.

• Ability to work independently in both office and field settings, with flexibility to travel as required.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a small, specialized team.
