About the PMO (Transformation) Role:
The PMO (Transformation) is responsible for leading organisational change efforts, working with senior leadership to develop and implement new strategies, processes, and procedures that will help their company adapt to a changing marketplace or other external pressures.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the organisation’s strategic planning process to ensure that all departments are aligned with the company’s goals
Creating a culture of innovation by encouraging all employees to share new ideas and insights on how to improve processes or procedures
Establishing specific performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of each department and individual employee
Developing new products or services, such as mobile apps or e-commerce sites, to meet changing customer needs
Overseeing the implementation of new technologies that can improve efficiency in business operations
Establishing strategic alliances with other companies with complementary products or services to expand offerings and increase market share in existing markets
Evaluating the effectiveness of current strategies and activities to improve performance in identified areas of concern
Leading the organisation’s strategic planning process to ensure that all departments are aligned with the company’s goals
To succeed in this PMO (Transformation) role, you must have a solid background and experience in insurance operations, and successfully completed transformation and process improvement projects.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline is necessary; master’s degree is preferred
At least 15 years in leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving organisational transformation
Experience leading large-scale change initiatives across multiple functions and geographies
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision making
Proven ability to develop and execute a business strategy
MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an advantage
Experience with Agile methodology
Experience working in a global organisation
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives
Skills:
Strategic thinking: ability to analyse a situation and develop a plan of action
Communication: As a transformation leader, you need to be able to communicate effectively with your team, clients and other stakeholders.
Business acumen to analyse data, develop strategies and make decisions that help their company succeed.
