About the Senior Project Manager Role:
The Senior Project Manager will work with a focus but not exclusively on technology and transformation initiatives. The types of project you will be delivering will be holistic and will expose you to different technology projects such as the aforementioned transformation efforts, software development, process optimisation, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing the business objectives
• Identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks
• Providing leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan
• Establishing work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
• Implementing project communication plan
• Performing risk assessment and implementing mitigation plans and controls

To succeed in this Senior Project Manager role, you must have the adequate experience and interest in vendor management, reporting and metrics management, possess business acumen and knowledge of the organisation, and leadership initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in IT project management primarily in software and applications development
• Demonstrated competency in a project management role involving the execution of multiple projects or a large project
• At least three years of BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
• Ability to lead and motivate others; demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types
• Demonstrated sensitivity to working in a political environment and to interacting with senior leadership
• Working knowledge of at least one delivery methodology or framework, such as PMI standards (PMBOK), PRINCE2, Agile, and Waterfall
