What you'll do:

As Head of Information Technology, you will be entrusted with steering the organisation’s technology vision by developing strategic plans that support business goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading digital transformation initiatives designed to improve efficiency across all departments. You will manage a talented IT team responsible for maintaining high-performance networks and secure systems while fostering a culture of collaboration.   • Ensure full compliance with data protection laws and regulations by drafting, managing, and implementing IT policies that keep the organisation audit-ready for both internal and external stakeholders.

Your background includes hands-on involvement in risk management frameworks that protect both data integrity and business continuity. You possess deep technical knowledge spanning operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualisation platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud solutions (Azure/M365), networking protocols (RIP/EIGRP/OSPF/BGP), multi-layer switching technologies (VLAN/QoS/HSRP/VRRP/IPv6/multicast), application-based ACLs/NAT/load balancing/policy-based routing configurations as well as hardware equipment like firewalls/switches/servers. Your analytical mindset enables you to assess risks accurately while your empathetic communication style ensures harmonious collaboration among cross-functional teams. Experience working with international colleagues further enhances your ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is essential for understanding complex technical environments.
  • At least seven years’ experience in IT infrastructure management or risk management within BPOs, banks, fintech firms or other digital industries provides the necessary background for this senior position.
  • Minimum five years’ proven leadership experience managing network operations teams with direct reports demonstrates your ability to guide others towards shared goals.
  • Expertise in designing secure high-availability networks ensures reliable service delivery across all platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows or Linux system operation and maintenance—especially Microsoft Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP—is vital for effective infrastructure oversight.
  • Proficiency in virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V supports efficient resource allocation within the organisation’s data centres.
  • Basic familiarity with cloud products like Azure or M365 enables successful migration projects when needed.
  • Advanced understanding of risk assessment methodologies combined with best practices in network security helps protect sensitive data from threats.
  • Ability to configure protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP along with multi-layer switching technologies like VLANs or QoS ensures optimal network performance.
  • Experience using protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark allows you to troubleshoot complex issues quickly while maintaining system integrity.
