About the Role

Key Responsibilities:


Global Billing Process Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end billing lifecycle across temporary, permanent, and self-billing client models
  • Define and standardise global billing processes across multiple client requirements and system environments (e.g. Fieldglass, D365, Power BI, client systems)
  • Establish clear process documentation, ownership, and governance across all billing activities
  • Ensure consistency in execution while accommodating necessary client-specific variations


Operational Delivery & Performance Management

  • Lead the offshore billing team to deliver daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing in line with client SLAs and contractual requirements
  • Manage workload allocation across client portfolios based on volume, complexity, and priority
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and completeness across all billing outputs
  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs including throughput, error rates, SLA adherence, and rework


Revenue Assurance & First-Line Control

  • Embed robust first-line controls across billing processes to ensure invoice accuracy and revenue integrity
  • Oversee validation of timesheets, rates, remittances, and client-specific commercial terms
  • Ensure structured resolution of exceptions, including failed uploads, mismatches, and data discrepancies
  • Reduce dependency on manual checks by designing and implementing repeatable control mechanisms


Stakeholder Coordination & Workflow Integration

  • Act as the central coordination point between offshore billing teams and key stakeholders including Onsite teams, Finance, Operations, and Client contacts
  • Manage dependencies on upstream data inputs (timesheets, payroll files, client data) to ensure timely billing
  • Coordinate resolution of data quality issues with Onsite and operational teams
  • Ensure effective handoffs between billing, payroll, and finance systems to support end-to-end process flow

Systems & Process Optimisation

  • Drive the transition from manual processes (e.g. spreadsheets, macros, VLOOKUPs) to automated, system-driven workflows
  • Partner with Technology, Product, and Transformation teams to improve system functionality (e.g. Fieldglass, D365 integrations)
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve productivity and reduce error rates
  • Support implementation of new tools, system enhancements, and process changes


Capacity, Resource & Offshore Model Management

  • Manage offshore team capacity to ensure optimal utilisation and service delivery
  • Support workforce planning aligned to billing volumes, client growth, and transformation initiatives
  • Build a resilient, cross-trained team capable of supporting multiple clients and processes
  • Contribute to the evolution of the offshore delivery model, including transition of activities from onshore

Continuous Improvement & Transformation Delivery

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify, standardise, and scale billing processes
  • Support the delivery of the Billing Transformation programme, including process redesign and automation
  • Reduce operational complexity, manual intervention, and reliance on key individuals
  • Embed a culture of accountability, process ownership, and continuous improvement within the team


Who you are:

  • Strong experience in billing, revenue operations, or finance operations within a complex, multi-client environment
  • Experience operating in offshore or shared service delivery models
  • Deep understanding of process design, standardisation, and operational control frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume, complex transactional processes across multiple systems
  • Experience driving process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across geographically dispersed teams
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, control, and delivery
