What you'll do:
As an Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand current operations and functions, ensuring all requirements are accurately gathered and documented for Oracle Fusion Finance implementations.
- Prepare comprehensive solution footprints by finalising documentation that clearly outlines integration needs and fit-gap analyses for seamless system transitions.
- Configure all financial modules within Oracle Cloud and EBS environments, adapting solutions to meet unique organisational requirements while maintaining compliance standards.
- Lead data migration activities for payables, assets, and general ledger trial balances using FBDI and ADF templates, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the process.
- Develop detailed financial reports using Financial Reporting Studio, providing valuable insights that support decision-making across the organisation.
- Conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRP1 & CRP2) as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), guiding teams through testing phases to validate system functionality and user satisfaction.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant position brings extensive experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud and EBS finance modules.
- Proven experience as an independent consultant handling requirements gathering, solution design, testing processes, and client demonstrations within Oracle Fusion Finance environments.
- At least 8-10 years of hands-on experience across all finance modules, showcasing deep industry knowledge and dependability.
- Minimum 2 years of end-to-end implementation experience in both Cloud and EBS systems, highlighting your commitment to delivering successful projects.
- Expertise in managing data migration tasks using FBDI and ADF templates for payables, assets, and general ledger trial balances.
- Experience working with tax-related processes within Oracle finance modules, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ability to prepare setup documents, functional design documents, test scripts, and other essential project artefacts that facilitate effective collaboration among teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to connect with colleagues in a polite manner while sharing knowledge generously across the network.
