What you'll do:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that span the full spectrum of accounting operations.

• Accurately post journal entries and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure the integrity of financial data across all accounting operations.
• Manage intercompany accounting processes and perform detailed reconciliations to support transparent financial reporting between entities.
• Oversee accruals and prepayments management, ensuring timely and precise recognition of expenses for accurate period-end results.
• Perform thorough balance sheet reconciliations to uphold the reliability of accounts and support audit readiness at all times.
• Maintain the local entity chart of accounts, ensuring consistency with regulatory requirements and internal policies for seamless compliance.
• Administer fixed asset accounting by tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules to provide clear visibility over company assets.
• Monitor headcount-related costs and bonus allocations, collaborating closely with HR teams to ensure accurate payroll tax processing.
• Handle month-end revenue recognition activities and oversee period-end close processes to deliver timely financial statements.
• Produce detailed management reports that offer valuable insights into business performance, supporting informed decision-making by stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements across accounting functions by conducting business analysis and collaborating with global teams to optimise workflows.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Accountant, you will bring proven experience from previous roles where you have demonstrated technical expertise across various facets of accounting operations.

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required; holding a CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable for this position.
• Demonstrated experience of 5-10 years in an accounting or finance-related role provides the foundation needed for success in this role.
• Proven track record in general ledger accounting, including hands-on experience with management reporting, statutory reporting, cash management, tax compliance, property management or service/process improvement roles is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles as well as up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements ensures effective compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as Workday or Power BI alongside strong Excel skills enables efficient handling of complex financial data sets.
• Strong communication skills facilitate effective collaboration across multiple departments within the organisation.
