Treasury & AR Manager
A leading global consumer care organisation is seeking a Treasury and Accounts Receivable Manager to join their Finance team in BGC, Taguig City.
What you'll do:
As Treasury and Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of treasury operations and credit management within the Finance department. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve balancing liquidity needs with risk management strategies to ensure financial resilience in a dynamic FMCG environment.
- Manage cash flow effectively to support high-volume transactions and respond to seasonal demand spikes across multiple sales channels.
- Oversee short-term placements, loan obligations, and foreign exchange exposures relevant to import/export operations within the FMCG sector.
- Ensure timely settlement of supplier payments, distributor financing arrangements, and promotional spend disbursements.
- Maintain strong banking relationships to secure credit facilities and optimise transaction costs for the organisation.
- Analyse the adequacy of bad debt allowances and provide management with insightful liquidity and risk reports.
- Recommend treasury and credit process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Evaluate distributor and retail partner creditworthiness by setting appropriate limits aligned with turnover cycles.
- Monitor accounts receivable status closely to achieve collection targets while minimising delinquency rates.
- Coordinate recovery actions for delinquent accounts in partnership with Legal teams when necessary.
- Cascade credit and collection policies to distributors and retail partners while enforcing expense recognition controls.
What you bring:
To excel as Treasury and Accounts Receivable Manager, your proven track record in financial leadership will be invaluable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required; CPA qualification is mandatory for this position.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience; deep understanding of FMCG operations including distributor management and supply chain processes is crucial for success.
- Strong negotiation abilities will enable you to secure favourable terms on credit facilities while supporting sales growth initiatives.
- Stakeholder management expertise is vital for cascading policies across multiple channels and maintaining compliance standards.
