Finance Manager - Quezon City

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to provide direction and leadership for their accounting, tax and investment management, budgeting, statutory and management reporting. This role offers the opportunity to oversee key financial sections of a large organisation, including Controllership, Treasury, and Financial Planning and Analysis. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely financial closing, preparation of financial statements,and compliance with tax requirements.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's organisation. You will be entrusted with developing, implementing, reviewing all finance-related policies while overseeing key sections such as Controllership, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring timely financial closings, maintaining compliance with tax provisions, adhering to statutory requirements by SEC & government entities. Your leadership skills will shine as you manage a results-driven finance team towards achieving organisational goals.

• Develop, implement, and review all finance and accounting policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
• Oversee the functions of the Controllership, Treasury, and Financial Planning and Analysis sections
• Ensure timely monthly and annual financial closing and preparation of financial statements
• Monitor and ensure accurate and timely full compliance of tax provisions and requirements
• Adhere to all statutory requirements by the SEC and government entities with oversight over the company's financial operations
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget
• Prepare budget performance reports and other reports required by the Board
• Maintain effective internal control systems
• Manage a results-driven, teamwork-oriented finance team that is given training opportunities for professional growth

What you bring:

As an ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position, you bring a wealth of experience from your previous roles in senior leadership within large organisations. Your strong background in finance and accounting has equipped you with an understanding of profit & loss management as well as balance sheet & cash flow management. Your Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification further enhances your credibility. You are adept at managing budgets, public accounting & cash flows. Your willingness to report on-site in Quezon City demonstrates your commitment to the role.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance; Master’s Degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a senior leadership role within a large organization handling finance, accounting, financial planning, budget analysis, controllership, treasury teams
• Strong financial and accounting background including understanding of profit & loss, balance sheet & cash flow management
• Experience with budget management, public accounting & cash flow
