An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance team, supporting the leadership team and driving business performance. You will play a pivotal part in shaping financial processes, ensuring compliance, and partnering with sales and operations teams to identify growth opportunities.

What you'll do:

As Finance Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of the finance function in the Philippines. You will collaborate closely with both local management teams and global colleagues to ensure compliance is maintained at every level while identifying areas for process enhancement.

  • Lead the team to ensure efficient daily operational and routine accounting and finance operational activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee statutory financial statement preparation, audit coordination, tax filings (including BIR requirements), and maintain strong relationships with external consultants such as auditors and actuaries.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by updating and implementing new systems or policies and supporting regional or global project rollouts with thorough documentation and effective communication.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company secretarial duties, licensing requirements, and alignment with regional finance stakeholders to minimise risk across all activities.
  • Partner with the revenue generating teams to lead end-to-end business planning processes including pipeline monitoring, capacity analysis, performance management programmes, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Provide insightful commercial analysis by dissecting market trends, pricing strategies, volume data, and investment performance to support decision-making at the country level.
  • Support procurement improvement efforts by collaborating with operations managers and leveraging data from systems for enhanced business planning.
  • Prepare impactful business presentations for country leadership teams and regional stakeholders using accurate data analysis to highlight key findings or recommendations.
  • Mentor junior staff members by developing tailored performance plans, providing ongoing training opportunities, and fostering their growth as trusted business partners within the finance team.
  • Regularly review team deliverables with direct and dotted line managers to agree on priorities while constructively challenging leadership when necessary.

What you bring:

To excel as Finance Manager you will bring extensive experience from multinational settings where you have managed diverse finance functions ranging from statutory reporting through tax compliance to commercial analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Commerce, Business or related analytical discipline along with post-graduate certifications relevant to finance or accounting.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in medium or large multinational organisations
  • Proven track record of delivering reliable results even in complex or changing environments
  • Experience improving finance team performance by developing training programmes that motivate staff towards greater achievement within a collaborative framework.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations including annual filings, monthly activities, VAT audits; comfortable liaising directly with BIR representatives as needed.
