A leading organisation is seeking a Group Finance Manager, based in Metro Manila, to join their remote team. With a clear pathway to CFO, you will be at the heart of shaping growth strategies, leading a talented finance team, and ensuring robust processes and controls.

What you'll do:

As Group Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in supporting the CEO with strategic planning while overseeing all aspects of finance operations.

  • Partner closely with the CEO to provide strategic planning support, financial guidance, and insight for business growth initiatives.
  • Oversee daily finance operations by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls throughout all processes.
  • Lead group reporting activities including monthly management accounts, board reporting, and comprehensive performance analysis such as dashboarding.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes to ensure sustainable growth and informed decision-making.
  • Deliver commercial insight and detailed analysis to support key business decisions and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within financial systems, reporting mechanisms, and internal controls; implement enhancements for greater efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk across the group to maintain stability and optimise resources.
  • Mentor, develop, and upskill members of the finance team by fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
  • Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, advisors, ensuring effective communication and compliance.
  • Support strategic client projects as required by providing expert financial input and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you bring:

To excel as a Group Finance Manager, your technical accounting expertise will be complemented by commercial awareness that allows you to contribute meaningfully to strategic discussions.

  • Fully qualified accountant status (such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Group Finance role
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with commercial acumen
  • Track record of improving processes within finance functions
  • Leadership skills paired with people management experience
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in fast-paced or growing businesses is preferred but not mandatory
