What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will take ownership of critical financial operations within a vibrant organisation renowned for delivering unforgettable live experiences. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with both local teams and international stakeholders as you drive excellence in statutory reporting, management accounts preparation, and internal control systems. By engaging in detailed forecasting, budgeting exercises, tax compliance tasks, and event settlements, you will help shape strategic decisions that underpin the company’s continued success.

  • Coordinate all daily, weekly, and monthly finance operations to ensure seamless workflow across the department.
  • Oversee the work and professional development of direct reports, providing guidance and support to foster their growth.
  • Manage month-end closing processes and produce comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.
  • Prepare and review journal entries while ensuring accuracy in general ledger operations for reliable financial data.
  • Review payment processes diligently, confirming that all transactions have appropriate management approval before execution.
  • Collaborate with senior finance leadership on forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking to inform key business decisions.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of monthly account reconciliations, ensuring all balances are properly supported by documentation.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and business planning process, aligning departmental goals with overall organisational strategy.
  • Assist with event settlement processes and provide oversight during major events when required by senior management.
  • Monitor internal controls rigorously to guarantee compliance with corporate policies, procedures, ethics standards, and anti-corruption measures.

What you bring:

To excel as a Finance Manager in this setting, you will bring a wealth of practical experience from previous roles where you managed end-to-end finance operations within large or multinational organisations. Your background should include hands-on involvement in statutory reporting cycles, budget formulation processes, tax compliance activities, and audit coordination.

  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) with experience managing finance functions within complex international organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising or mentoring staff members within a finance team environment.
  • Proven ability to prepare accurate management reports, forecasts, budgets, and conduct insightful variance analyses.
  • Strong analytical thinking paired with sound reasoning abilities for effective problem-solving in diverse scenarios.
  • Comprehensive understanding of internal controls frameworks including ethics compliance and anti-corruption protocols.
  • Experience liaising with auditors (both internal and external) during routine reviews or special investigations.
  • Solid knowledge of tax return preparation (monthly/quarterly/annual) aligned with local regulatory requirements.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed and willingness to work evenings or weekends during major projects or events.
