Senior FP&A

A leading organisation is seeking a Finance Manager specialising in Financial Planning and Analysis to join their team in Pasig. What you'll do:

As Senior FP&A based in Pasig, you will be responsible for guiding a talented team through the intricacies of financial strategy. You will oversee critical processes such as budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting.

• Supervise employees formally by monitoring their training, development, conducting performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and overseeing recruitment processes to ensure a dependable team.
• Coordinate daily activities of the finance team by establishing work schedules, assigning tasks thoughtfully, cross-training staff for versatility, setting deadlines, and mentoring as needed.
• Oversee the entire budgeting process including preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, strategic planning initiatives, and standard management reporting to support organisational goals.
• Review balance sheet account analysis thoroughly along with statements of cash flows, supporting schedules, and consolidated reporting packs to maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Approve basic monthly journal entries after careful review to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Produce routine as well as ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management and planning units to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Coordinate research efforts for developing accounting policy and procedures while ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
• Exchange difficult information clearly with stakeholders by conveying performance expectations sensitively and handling sensitive issues with empathy.
• Influence parties with shared interests towards agreement using collaborative communication techniques that foster understanding.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day moderately complex issues within existing systems or processes by applying your knowledge across disciplines.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior FP&A, you should bring proven experience in managing teams within finance environments—ideally five years or more—where your nurturing approach has helped others grow professionally.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Extensive organisational skills paired with an inquisitive mindset
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams
