What you'll do:

As a Senior Audit Associate, you will play an integral role in delivering fully integrated audit services for a broad range of global clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve planning risk assessments, performing detailed substantive fieldwork using CaseWare software, preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements—including consolidations—and conducting thorough reviews of control environments. You will also be responsible for managing project timelines, leading both internal team meetings and client discussions to ensure seamless communication. By coaching junior auditors and reviewing their workpapers, you will foster a collaborative learning environment while upholding high standards of quality. Your ability to proactively address challenges as they arise will be essential in maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring successful completion of each engagement.

What you bring:

The ideal Senior Audit Associate brings extensive experience in external auditing—particularly within small or mid-tier firms serving Australian clients—alongside advanced proficiency in CaseWare software.

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required along with full CPA qualification to demonstrate your technical foundation.
• At least 5 years’ experience in external audit roles, including a minimum of 2 years in Australian (AU) auditing, where you have managed both basic and complex sections independently within small or mid-tier firms.
• Demonstrated expertise using CaseWare software is non-negotiable for this position due to its centrality in daily operations.
• Prior hands-on experience during the Australian busy season at a small or mid-tier firm (not Big 4), equipping you with unique insights into local regulatory requirements.
