A leading multinational organization seeks an Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Senior Manager to drive the development and enhancement of risk management and BCP frameworks. The role collaborates with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and manage risks while ensuring operational continuity during disruptions. What you'll do:

As an Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Senior Manager, you will be at the forefront of building a fast-paced organization by designing frameworks that protect against both anticipated risks and unforeseen disruptions. Your will be involved in close partnership with senior executives as you facilitate workshops to identify key risks across departments and your expertise will also be crucial in overseeing crisis preparedness. You will act as a trusted advisor on new initiatives—ensuring that every project is underpinned by sound risk controls—and foster a culture of awareness through training programs that reach all levels of staff.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s enterprise risk management framework in alignment with corporate governance standards to ensure comprehensive coverage of all risk areas.
  • Embed risk management principles into policies, decision-making processes, and performance management systems across the entire organization.
  • Facilitate enterprise-wide risk identification workshops with functional heads to capture strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks relevant to business objectives.
  • Maintain and regularly update the Corporate Risk Register by ensuring clear ownership assignment, thorough impact analysis, and effective treatment plans for each identified risk.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to anticipate emerging threats and opportunities that could affect the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain risk dashboards as well as key risk indicators (KRIs) for transparent reporting to management and the Board.
  • Coordinate quarterly risk reviews and prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership including the CFO, Executive Committee, and Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Monitor the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans to ensure their effectiveness in reducing exposure to critical risks.
  • Oversee the business continuity management framework by ensuring readiness for potential disruptions such as disasters or supply chain interruptions through scenario planning and simulation exercises.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business units on risk exposure, controls, mitigation strategies for new projects or investments while collaborating with Internal Audit and Compliance functions.

As an Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Senior Manager, your background should reflect significant hands-on experience managing complex risks within large organizations. You must bring a deep understanding of how robust frameworks underpin effective governance while possessing the interpersonal skills necessary to engage colleagues at every level.   • Professional certifications such as CRMA or ISO 31000 Certified Risk Manager are required; CPA qualification is considered advantageous but not mandatory.
  • At least five to seven years’ experience in risk management, internal audit or corporate governance roles ideally within retail or fast-moving consumer goods sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise risk frameworks along with practical experience implementing internal controls and financial management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical skills combined with proven ability to facilitate group discussions involving multiple stakeholders from various backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data visualisation tools as well as advanced capabilities in preparing clear risk reporting materials for executive audiences.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement abilities enabling effective communication of complex concepts across different levels of the organisation.
  • Experience coordinating scenario planning exercises or simulation drills related to business continuity preparedness is highly desirable.
  • Track record of delivering impactful training sessions or awareness programmes focused on elevating organisational understanding of risk management principles.
