A leading financial services provider is seeking a Relationship Manager (Bancassurance) to join their team in Manila. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate closely with bank staff to identify and nurture client relationships, conduct comprehensive financial lifestyle assessments, and recommend tailored wealth protection, investment, and insurance solutions.

What you'll do:

As a Relationship Manager Bancassurance based in Manila, you will play a pivotal role in connecting clients with the right financial solutions by working hand-in-hand with bank staff inside a bustling branch environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building rapport with frontline colleagues to generate referrals, conducting insightful financial consultations alongside Bank Relationship Managers, and presenting tailored insurance options that address each client's specific goals. You will be entrusted with managing the entire sales cycle from identifying prospects through to policy issuance while upholding the highest standards of compliance. Success in this role means not only achieving ambitious business targets but also becoming a valued resource for both clients and partners by delivering exceptional service at every touchpoint.

  • Cultivate strong, co-operative relationships with bank branch staff including Branch Heads, Tellers, and Loan Officers to ensure a consistent flow of qualified client referrals.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on wealth protection, estate planning, and health insurance by partnering with Bank Relationship Managers to deliver joint consultations for both retail and high-net-worth clients.
  • Engage directly with referred clients to conduct thorough Financial Needs Analyses (FNA), present bespoke insurance product recommendations, and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Drive new business growth by meeting or exceeding monthly and annual New Business Premium (NBP) targets through effective sales execution and follow-through.
  • Oversee the entire sales pipeline from initial lead generation and branch activation to client presentations, policy underwriting, and successful issuance of policies.
  • Ensure all activities strictly comply with regulatory guidelines set by the Insurance Commission as well as internal standards for data privacy, anti-money laundering (AML), and overall compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve processes related to client onboarding, documentation accuracy, and after-sales service quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs to provide relevant advice during consultations.
  • Support ongoing training initiatives for bank staff to enhance their understanding of insurance products and cross-selling techniques.
  • Provide timely feedback on partnership effectiveness to senior management for continuous improvement.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or any related field is required for this position to ensure foundational knowledge in key subject areas.
  • A minimum of 1–3 years proven experience in Bancassurance, Wealth Management or Life Insurance demonstrates your ability to thrive in similar environments.
  • Experience working within a bank branch setting or managing joint-venture relationships is highly preferred as it enables seamless integration into the partner ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated cross-selling capabilities supported by a track record of serving retail or affluent client segments highlight your consultative approach.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills allow you to foster trust among diverse stakeholders including clients and bank staff alike.
  • Proficiency in conducting Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) ensures you can accurately assess client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills enable you to explain complex concepts clearly while maintaining empathy throughout the consultation process.
  • A commitment to upholding compliance standards including data privacy and anti-money laundering protocols reflects your sense of responsibility towards clients’ best interests.
