* Lead a large-scale, multi-jurisdictional clearing and settlements function with direct accountability for Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines.

* Oversee the strategic development and daily operations of the Clearing & Settlements function across multiple Asian markets, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services.
* Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing technology adoption and operating models to improve control frameworks and process efficiency throughout the department.
* Engage business leadership at both strategic and tactical levels to ensure alignment with organisational goals while maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
* Manage the budget for Clearing & Settlements operations, meeting financial targets while optimising resource allocation and cost-income ratios.
* Develop succession planning strategies in collaboration with HR to nurture future leaders and maintain a high-performance team culture.
* Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements by implementing robust risk management practices across all jurisdictions.
* Collaborate closely with global operational teams to promote inclusiveness and seamless execution of transformation activities.
* Foster strong relationships with Sales, Product Delivery, Risk Stewards Community, Technology partners, and external clients to support business objectives.
* Utilise metrics management tools to monitor operational performance and streamline procedures for enhanced automation, cost reduction, service quality, and productivity.

* Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build dependable relationships across diverse teams and business lines.
* Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles applied within global financial institutions.
