- Benchmark against peer banks and fintech companies by collecting industry dynamics to maintain a leading edge for the bank’s products and channels.
- Undertake due diligence activities for trade finance-related products through both on-site and off-site surveys and audits to support effective product delivery.
- Foster communication and co-operation with external institutions such as credit insurance providers and fintech firms to promote continuous improvement of trade finance offerings.
- Lead regional product management efforts by providing training and promoting trade finance solutions across Southeast Asian branches to support business growth.
- Optimise functional aspects of trade finance systems and channels by drafting system requirements, transforming processes, managing regional business operations, conducting user testing, and following up on production issues.

To excel as a Senior Product Manager Trade Finance you will bring substantial experience from the banking sector—particularly in developing or managing trade finance products—and possess deep familiarity with the needs of corporate clients operating across Southeast Asia. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build trusted relationships both internally among colleagues from various departments and externally with strategic partners. A keen analytical mindset will allow you to conduct meaningful market research while your communication skills ensure that complex ideas are presented clearly during negotiations or training sessions. Adaptability is crucial given the regional scope of this role; you should feel comfortable navigating different cultural contexts while remaining responsive to shifting business priorities. Your commitment to continuous learning will be supported by structured training programmes designed to further enhance your expertise.
