Digital Media Strategist

In this role, you will take full ownership of our multi-platform social strategy (from TikTok to LinkedIn) to elevate our digital persona and set new industry benchmarks for engagement, creativity, and impact.
What you'll do:
- Take full responsibility for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels to maximise reach and engagement.
- Define clear content priorities by establishing channel-specific strategies and audience engagement approaches that align with broader brand objectives.
- Develop robust content pillars supporting financial education, product storytelling, lifestyle themes, and customer experiences to ensure consistent messaging across all touch points.
- Identify new opportunities to expand audience reach and foster deeper community engagement by staying ahead of evolving platform trends and user behaviours.
- Oversee the entire content lifecycle including planning, creation, publishing, optimisation and maintain high standards for quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Guide internal creators and external partners by providing constructive feedback on content outputs while ensuring all materials meet business goals and audience needs.
- Support agile content production around key campaigns, partnerships, launches, and cultural moments to keep the brand top-of-mind in relevant conversations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, media, growth teams, HR, product managers, and agencies to deliver cohesive campaigns that integrate seamlessly with overall business strategies.
- Monitor key performance metrics such as reach, engagement rates, audience growth, and marketing efficiency; use these insights to refine strategies for optimal results.
- Mentor a team of content creators and social media specialists by establishing effective planning processes, quality benchmarks, workflows, and fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
- Possess at least 5–6 years’ experience in social media management or digital marketing roles where you have driven significant growth on platforms like TikTok and Facebook through innovative strategies.
- Demonstrate proven ability to lead teams of creators or manage content output effectively while maintaining high standards for quality and consistency.
- Showcase expertise in developing successful social media strategies that balance long-term vision with hands-on execution across multiple channels.
- Exhibit strong understanding of content marketing principles including storytelling techniques tailored for different audiences within the fintech or digital-first sectors.
- Display excellent project management skills enabling you to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising on deadlines or outcomes.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels both internally across departments (marketing/PR/product) and externally with agency partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Bring an ownership mindset marked by enthusiasm for building new initiatives from scratch while remaining adaptable in fast-evolving environments.
- Utilise advanced knowledge of analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness; translate data into actionable insights that inform future strategy adjustments.
- Bonus: Experience working within fintech/banking/technology/e-commerce brands or agencies managing multiple clients/campaigns is highly valued for this position.
- Bonus: Familiarity with paid social advertising tactics (including influencer marketing/content amplification), launching new channels from zero base upscaling them successfully is advantageous.
