What you'll do:

As Head of Credit Strategy, Policy and Analytics, you will play a central role in shaping the organisation’s approach to credit risk management. * Partner with product development, marketing, and operations teams to integrate credit strategies into new offerings and optimise customer experience.
* Drive advanced credit analytics by developing, refining, and deploying sophisticated credit scoring models that enhance portfolio performance.
* Monitor key business KPIs related to credit portfolios, conduct thorough product performance reviews, and provide actionable insights to senior management on trends and competitive positioning.
* Lead efforts to automate decision-making processes using digital tools and alternative data sources in collaboration with technology teams.
* Oversee portfolio risk performance by initiating projects that optimise approval rates, assign appropriate credit lines, and improve collections strategies.
* Ensure strict adherence to local and international regulatory requirements by liaising with regulators and auditors on all matters related to credit risk.
* Maintain robust governance structures and documentation for all credit policies to support transparency and accountability.
* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of credit policy professionals while collaborating with senior executives to align risk strategies with broader organisational goals.
