What you'll do:
As Head of Non-Financial Risk, you will play an instrumental role in driving the organisation’s approach to managing complex risks that span operational processes, technological advancements, and regulatory landscapes. - Integrate operational and technology risk management practices into broader enterprise risk processes for cohesive oversight.
- Provide regular insights and detailed reports on risk exposures to senior management and board-level committees to inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain robust operational risk frameworks including policies, standards, methodologies, and incident reporting structures.
- Champion key operational risk initiatives such as Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) processes, governance frameworks, controls testing, scenario analysis, and loss event management.
- Lead the management of technology-related risks by collaborating closely with IT and security teams to address cybersecurity threats, data privacy concerns, and emerging digital innovations including AI.
- Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards related to data protection and cybersecurity through rigorous assessments of new technologies and systems.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business or a related field; Master’s degree preferred for advanced analytical capabilities.
- 12–15+ years’ experience in risk management roles with substantial exposure to both operational and technology risks within regulated environments such as financial services.
- Demonstrated leadership experience at senior or executive levels with proven ability to scale high-performing teams focused on collaborative outcomes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), ORM (Operational Risk Management), TRM (Technology Risk Management) frameworks including hands-on involvement with ORSA processes.
- Certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRISC (Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent are advantageous for demonstrating subject matter expertise.
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to engage effectively at board level through clear communication of complex risk issues.
- Proven track record in change management—driving transformation projects that embed sustainable risk practices across diverse teams.
