Assistant General Manager

As Assistant General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations. You will work closely with various teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service standards, and ensure operational consistency. You will monitor sales performance and key metrics to drive profitability, while also leading recruitment and team development to foster a collaborative and accountable culture. In partnership with marketing, you will help strengthen local brand presence.

  • Support daily operations by ensuring smooth coordination between different teams.
  • Operate with a hands-on management approach during launch and early growth stages to build operational discipline and strong execution culture on-site.
  • Develop scalable operational systems for future multi-store expansion while monitoring service quality, cleanliness, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and customer complaints quickly and professionally to maintain high standards of service.
  • Monitor sales performance, operational profitability, and financial statements by analysing key business KPIs such as sales trends, customer traffic, average spending, labour cost, food cost, and productivity.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cost management initiatives and identify operational inefficiencies to implement corrective actions for business sustainability.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations including staffing, scheduling, menu execution, inventory management, waste control, and food quality.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision of department managers and staff while developing strong service-oriented and performance-driven team culture.
  • Assist in building training systems, operational manuals, performance standards; monitor staffing levels and shift scheduling for manpower efficiency.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions and events; support local store marketing initiatives to build brand recognition and repeat customer traffic.
