A leading organisation in is seeking a People Generalist to join their team and play a pivotal role in supporting the full people agenda. You will be at the heart of the business, working closely with managers, employees, and People colleagues to deliver a positive experience.

What you'll do:

As a People Generalist based in Makati City, you will be instrumental in executing essential people processes that underpin the entire employee lifecycle. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing hands-on support to both managers and employees. You will coordinate impactful initiatives aimed at strengthening engagement across business units while supporting recruitment efforts from onboarding through ongoing training for management staff. Success in this role means being proactive in building relationships across teams, ensuring compliance at every step, and continuously seeking ways to improve the overall people experience.

  • Execute and support employee lifecycle processes in line with established ways of working, ensuring consistency, compliance, and fairness across all touchpoints.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to managers and employees by addressing inquiries related to people processes, policies, and basic employee relations matters.
  • Coordinate and deliver people initiatives that support business units, strengthen engagement, and foster a positive work environment for all staff members.
  • Support recruitment activities by facilitating smooth onboarding experiences for new hires as well as assisting with training programmes tailored for the Store Management team.
  • Collaborate closely with store teams, area teams, managers, employees, and People colleagues to ensure business needs are met efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of all people-related activities while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you bring:

Your background as a People Generalist equips you with practical knowledge of HR operations spanning recruitment, onboarding, training delivery, performance management, and talent development. You bring proven experience managing competing priorities without compromising quality or compliance. With strong interpersonal skills at your core, you excel at building rapport across all levels of the business while communicating clearly even under pressure.

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field—or equivalent experience in a generalist HR role demonstrating comprehensive understanding of people practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Experience using data analysis tools or methods to interpret people metrics for informed decision-making within an organisational context.
  • Demonstrated collaborative approach when working with diverse teams; adept at building trust-based relationships with managers and colleagues alike.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the capacity to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Solution-oriented mindset combined with adaptability; able to respond positively to changing priorities or unexpected challenges.
  • Organisational skills that enable effective coordination of projects or events involving multiple stakeholders across different departments.
