Head of Organizational and Learning Development - Startup
Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of Organisational Development and Learning & Development to join their team. This role is pivotal in strategising and designing organisational development and talent management initiatives that align with the overall thrust of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the organisation's competency framework, overseeing talent development programs, and acting as the custodian of the organisation's competency matrix. This role is based in Ortigas.
What you'll do:
As a Head of Organisational Development (OD) and Learning & Development (L&D), you will play a crucial role in shaping our client's future by strategising and designing OD initiatives that are anchored on their overall thrust. You will work closely with key stakeholders including HR Heads, HR Business Partners (HRBP), Business Unit Leaders, Recruitment Teams, among others. Your expertise will be vital in identifying competencies, critical positions, high performance employees, as well as high potential ones. You will also be responsible for designing talent development programs such as succession planning, learning & development initiatives. As an integral part of your role, you will act as the custodian of the organisation’s competency matrix and framework.

- Align business unit structures, goals, objectives, and KPIs with overall organizational goals in partnership with HRBPs and business leaders.
- Design and oversee the implementation of talent development programs, including succession planning and learning & development.
- Design, implement, and manage the organization’s competency framework.
- Lead learning needs analysis and design approved learning interventions.
- Own the performance management system in alignment with HQ requirements.
- Partner with HR Head to strategize and design organizational development and talent management initiatives.
- Partner with Recruitment and HRBPs to design, facilitate, and implement the onboarding program.
What you bring:
As the Head of OD and L&D, you bring a wealth of experience in Organisational Development or similar roles. Your strong knowledge of competency-based Talent Development will be key in designing the organisation’s competency framework. You have a proven track record of partnering effectively with various stakeholders including HR Heads, HRBPs, Business Unit Leaders etc. Your experience in overseeing implementation of talent development programs and knowledge of performance management systems will be crucial for this role. Your ability to lead learning needs analysis activities and design effective learning programs will be highly valued. Additionally, your experience partnering with recruitment teams for onboarding programs will be beneficial.
- 10+ years of experience in HR with specialization in OD and Learning.
- Ability to design effective learning programs.
- Ability to partner effectively with various stakeholders, including HR Heads, HRBPs, and Business Unit Leaders.
- Experience in designing organizational competency frameworks.
- Experience in leading learning needs analysis activities.
- Experience in overseeing the implementation of talent development programs.
