Purpose of the Job

To extend our growing development team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the internally deployed applications as the internet portal and the billing and finance systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions
• Develop Web UI, server side and web services
• Maintain CI/CD pipeline
• Oversee the overall engineering infrastructure
• Suggest and implements optimal software solution
• Document work to an appropriate level (peer level)
• Participate in various meetings (Scrum/Daily Stand-ups/Refinement)

Mandatory Knwledge & Skills:

• 5+ years of development experience
• Database PostgreSQL / MongoDB
• Microservices / SOAP / REST
• Web Development – HTML/JS/CSS
• Source Control – Git
• Java 8/17/21
• Spring boot 2+
• Unit Testing - Junit Agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban)

• Ability to prioritise and work with speed and accuracy
• Organised, flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changes within a fast-paced working environment
• Performance Engineering: Conduct deep-dive performance tuning and optimize database queries for multi-terabyte datasets.
