Function:
Build and maintain accurate, user-friendly Excel dashboards and reporting tools that meet business requirements and adhere to established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain accurate, user-friendly Excel dashboards and reporting tools that meet business requirements and adhere to established standards.
- Manage and deliver regular reporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely completion within agreed deadlines.
- Extract, validate, and cleanse data from core recruitment systems to provide reliable reporting outputs.
- Produce weekly and monthly reconciliation reports to monitor data quality and support continuous improvement in data integrity.
- Identify and address data quality issues, recommending corrective actions and working closely with recruiters, administrators, and coordinators to ensure accurate system inputs.
- Support the Reporting Manager in delivering both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, providing actionable insights for governance and performance reviews against SLAs and KPIs.
- Analyse client recruitment data to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling data-driven decision-making for account teams and clients.
- Provide reporting and analysis of financial metrics, including pricing, recruitment costs, and savings, to support commercial reporting requirements.
- Respond promptly to ad-hoc data requests and change requests from internal teams, head office, or clients.
- Investigate and resolve data-related issues, performing root-cause analysis and recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.
Skills:
- Advanced ability to design and develop complex dashboards in Excel, including use of nested, logical, and conditional formulas and Boolean logic.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; knowledge of VBA and SQL is advantageous.
- Expertise in data transformation and modeling using Power Query; familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.
- Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Microsoft Lists and basic app creation for data entry) is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a confident, professional approach.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of translating data into actionable business insights tailored to the target audience.
- Highly organized with effective time management, prioritisation, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong commitment to data integrity, information governance, and adherence to processes.
- Collaborative team player with a people-oriented mindset and a passion for analytics, staying current with technology and industry trends.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to interpret contracts, SLAs, and business metrics.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in MI/analytics, business reporting, or client-focused environments, delivering regular, actionable reports.
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools in Excel and Power Query, ensuring accuracy and usability in line with development standards.
- Skilled in data transformation and modeling for advanced analysis; understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Delivered proactive and ad-hoc insights on service performance, governance, and SLA/KPI compliance to drive key business decisions.
- Proficiency in creating dynamic dashboards in Excel; exposure to platforms like Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
- Experience interpreting and analysing SLA and KPI metrics, combined with strong stakeholder relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with ATS/VMS/CRM systems and understanding of their data flows is desirable.
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business discipline preferred but not essential.
