A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Integration Engineering Manager to join their team in Mabalacat, Pampanga. This role offers the opportunity to drive process innovation and collaborate with talented professionals across multiple international sites. You will play a pivotal part in developing new technologies, optimising manufacturing processes, and supporting the launch of cutting-edge products.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at various levels to design procedures and implement them effectively within the plant, ensuring alignment with organisational vision and future product pipelines.
  • Participate actively in Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities, providing valuable feedback based on lessons learned and ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation, facilitating knowledge sharing between different manufacturing sites to enhance overall engineering capability.
  • Study project scopes thoroughly to develop manufacturing strategies that support both current operations and future innovations.
  • Work directly with equipment vendors during the design, development, testing, and qualification phases of machinery, applying expertise in product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Contribute meaningfully to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) runs while participating in equipment design reviews to ensure robust machine performance.
  • Solicit observations from plant teams to inform improvements in machine design and manufacturing efficiency by analysing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Provide decision-making information regarding production by calculating labour and material costs, reviewing schedules, and estimating future requirements for optimal resource allocation.
  • Troubleshoot processing issues related to ongoing production as well as new product introductions, maintaining comprehensive documentation associated with assigned processes.
  • Work independently to optimise assigned processes while also developing new technologies or making significant changes to existing ones in close partnership with design centres.

What you bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a minimum of 10 years’ experience working within the manufacturing engineering sector is required for this role.
  • At least 10 years in mechanical or electronics industry environments is essential for understanding complex process requirements.
  • Proven track record of process design including tooling development and automation machine development over a decade-long career is necessary.
  • Deep familiarity with various manufacturing assembly processes such as assembling, soldering, dispensing, crimping, welding is crucial for success.
  • Significant experience working with machine builders to deploy both manual and automated equipment is highly valued.
  • Ability to understand customer technical needs—including specifications and advanced automotive architecture—and provide effective solutions that meet business unit objectives is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of assembly concepts as well as mechanical aspects of automated equipment including fixturing and tooling is needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, including internationally when required by project demands.
  • Familiarity with database development tools such as SPC software along with experience designing experiments is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification would be advantageous for candidates aiming to excel in process optimisation.
