Senior Supply Chain

A leading organisation in the food and beverage sector is seeking a Senior Supply Chain to play a pivotal role in optimising and overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Supply Chain, you will take ownership of critical supply chain functions that directly influence the success of the business.

• Oversee the importation process and manage Sales Orders to guarantee accurate and timely delivery of finished goods across all channels.
• Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), identifying areas for cost reduction while maintaining product quality.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and packaging supplies by raising Purchase Orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries aligned with production schedules.
• Liaise with tolling manufacturers to coordinate production timelines, monitor performance metrics, and address any issues that may affect output or quality standards.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock movements, managing shelf life for various products including promotional packs, and minimising waste through effective planning.
• Coordinate the procurement and distribution of Point of Sale (POS) materials to support marketing campaigns and sales initiatives, ensuring materials are available when needed.
• Work collaboratively on New Product Development (NPD) projects by sourcing suppliers, obtaining competitive bids, managing project timelines, and supporting successful product launches.
• Assess manpower requirements for production activities, coordinate staffing needs with HR and operations teams, handle Bill of Materials disposal processes, and oversee bottle recovery management.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs), verify reports for accuracy and compliance, process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) in Sys21 system, and work with purchasing on canvassing supplies and material deliveries.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field is required for this position.
• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations within manufacturing or FMCG environments is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee procurement processes including raising Purchase Orders, supplier negotiations, and timely material deliveries.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software such as Sys21 or SAP is necessary for efficient workflow management.
• Strong analytical skills combined with experience in developing strategies that improve efficiency while reducing costs across multiple supply chain functions.
• Excellent negotiation skills paired with proven problem-solving abilities enable you to resolve challenges quickly while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
• Outstanding communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively across departments including finance, HR, operations, marketing, and production teams.
• Solid understanding of industry regulations as well as quality standards ensures compliance throughout all stages of the supply chain process.
• Experience leading or mentoring cross-functional teams is highly valued as it supports knowledge sharing and team development.
