What you'll do:

As Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance, you will lead the organisation’s governance and regulatory agenda. You will oversee all legal matters, advise senior leadership on strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with key regulatory bodies including the Insurance Commission and AMLC. A core part of the role involves designing effective compliance and risk frameworks, anticipating regulatory changes, and strengthening controls around operational and digital risks. You will lead and develop a high‑performing team, embed a strong compliance culture, and ensure the business grows responsibly while safeguarding its reputation.

• Lead all legal matters including corporate governance, contracts, intellectual property, regulatory filings, and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate partnership, technology, and service agreements.
• Advise senior leadership on strategic initiatives, partnerships, product launches, and market entry.
• Design and implement compliance programmes aligned with IC, AMLA, and Data Privacy Act requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions to IC, AMLC, and NPC.
• Monitor regulatory developments and proactively prepare the business for change.
• Develop and oversee enterprise risk management frameworks covering operational, legal, reputational, and third‑party risks.
• Establish risk registers, KRIs, and incident response protocols, including cyber and digital risks.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing legal, risk, and compliance team.
• Deliver internal training on compliance, anti‑fraud, privacy, and whistleblowing.

• Strong experience in enterprise risk management frameworks and controls.
• High attention to detail in contracts, policies, and regulatory submissions.
• Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, digital or startup environments.
• Strong ethical standards with a commitment to transparency and accountability.
• Collaborative leader with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience designing and delivering internal compliance and risk training.
