What you'll do:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of legal agreements and contracts—including vendor, customer, partnership, employment, and financing agreements—ensuring optimal protection and alignment with applicable laws.

• Represent the organisation in all legal dealings, including litigation, arbitration, regulatory inquiries, and external negotiations, while safeguarding the company's interests and reputation.

• Monitor evolving legal and regulatory landscapes (both local and international), translating legislative developments into actionable internal guidance and policy updates.

• Manage relationships with external counsel to provide expert legal input on specialised matters or during high-stakes litigation and transactions.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration by working closely with finance, HR, compliance, risk, operations, and commercial teams to resolve legal issues and pre-empt legal exposure.

• Lead internal legal education efforts by creating and delivering training sessions to increase employee awareness of key legal principles and emerging risks.

• A graduate of Bachelor of Laws from a reputable institution with active membership in the Philippine Bar; up-to-date Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) certification reflects commitment to professional growth.

• Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements that align business objectives with legal compliance, risk mitigation, and contractual integrity.

• Proven litigation experience with a hands-on approach to managing disputes from initiation through resolution, offering strategic guidance to internal stakeholders.

• Prior exposure to global organisations and the ability to navigate complex, cross-border regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to convey legal advice clearly and concisely to non-legal teams and executive leadership.
