What you'll do:
As a Paralegal based in BGC, Taguig, you will immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic Legal and Compliance Unit. Your role will involve providing essential support across multiple facets of legal administration—from managing contract inventories to liaising with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining impeccable records using both paper-based systems and digital tools. Success in this role requires you to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills as you facilitate contract management processes from initiation through completion. You will also prepare detailed inventories of agreements while ensuring all documentation meets internal standards for accuracy and confidentiality. By collaborating closely with senior management and external counsels, you will gain valuable insights into corporate legal procedures. - Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to the Legal and Compliance Unit by assisting with daily operations and special projects.
- Maintain both paper and electronic files for the Legal Team using advanced management tools, ensuring all documents are organised and easily accessible.
- Facilitate end-to-end management of all contracts by tracking progress, updating inventories, and ensuring accuracy in internal and external documentation.
- Monitor the lifecycle of contracts, making certain that all agreements are well-maintained, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed inventories of contracts and agreements for the company, keeping records current and accurate for audit purposes.
- Liaise regularly with senior management and external counsels to provide updates on legal matters, coordinate document reviews, and ensure timely communication.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Legal Team or Management, demonstrating adaptability in handling various administrative duties.
- Support corporate housekeeping activities such as taking minutes during meetings, organising documents, safekeeping sensitive information, and tracking important files.
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications proficiently for drafting correspondence, managing spreadsheets, and preparing reports related to legal operations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and participating in training opportunities.

- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a relevant four-year course that provides foundational knowledge for legal work.
- At least two years of proven experience as a corporate paralegal within a banking environment, including expertise in corporate housekeeping such as minute-taking, document organisation, safekeeping, and tracking.
- Excellent communication skills that enable you to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels as well as external partners.
- Deadline-driven approach that ensures tasks are completed efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
- Keen attention to detail which is critical when handling sensitive documents or monitoring contract progress.
- Sound judgment demonstrated by your ability to handle confidential information responsibly while adhering to ethical standards.
- Exceptional time management skills allowing you to multi-task across various assignments without losing focus on priorities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for efficient document preparation and reporting.
