Are you Robert Walters?

About the role

About the role As a digital designer in our marketing team, you’ll create designs that inspire, connect and make an impact across global markets. You’ll bring stories to life through creative solutions that reflect our brand’s identity and support how we communicate with clients, candidates and colleagues.

You’ll be part of a collaborative global design team, partnering with marketers and designers across regions to create campaigns that are cohesive, effective and locally relevant. By sharing ideas and perspectives across borders, you’ll help ensure our brand speaks with one clear voice while supporting the needs of different markets.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional design experience, preferably with experience working with or for corporate brands. You will be confident taking projects from initial brief through to completion, including managing stakeholder expectations, providing a high level of customer service, meeting tight deadlines, solving design challenges and proactively providing creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with local marketing teams and designers, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

Collaboration and innovation

  • Take briefs from, and liaise directly with, local marketers and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on regional and global projects with other designers to support cohesive execution across markets.
  • Proactively contribute fresh ideas, design thinking and creative solutions.
  • Help ensure design work is aligned to brand guidelines while supporting local market needs where appropriate.

Content creation

  • Design suites of assets for marketing campaigns across digital, social, print and presentation
    formats.
  • Create and amend a variety of materials, including interactive whitepapers, e-guides, posters,
newsletters, presentations, event invitations, brochures and event collateral.
  • Develop infographics and data visualisations that communicate complex information clearly and
    in a visually engaging way.
  • Produce social media images and online campaign assets tailored to specific platforms.
  • Create short-form videos for social media and web, including simple editing and motion graphics
    where required.
  • Design digital and print banners.
  • Prepare digital and print-ready artwork with strong attention to layout, typography, accessibility
    and production requirements.

Essential skills and experience

All applicants will need at least three years of professional design experience, demonstrating creativity, technical competence, collaboration and a strong focus on delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, including strong layout, typography and typesetting
skills, with proven experience producing complex long-form documents and campaign materials
such as whitepapers, e-guides, brochures, event collateral and print-ready publications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with broader familiarity across
Adobe Creative Cloud and an understanding of which tools are best suited to different design tasks.
  • A solid understanding of how to produce digital and print-ready documents, with accessibility
    best practice in mind.
  • Experience creating campaign asset suites across digital, social, print and presentation formats.
  • Experience creating campaign and social media templates, and a willingness to learn tools such
as Adobe Express to support self-service marketing activity while maintaining brand consistency.
  • The ability to develop infographics and data visualisations that communicate complex
information clearly and in a visually engaging way.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
while working with marketers across global regions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and
    clearly articulate design decisions.
  • A calm and composed approach under pressure, maintaining focus and professionalism when
managing multiple priorities or tight timelines.
  • A proactive mindset, with a strong focus on customer service, creative problem-solving and
    attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for design, demonstrated by a commitment to producing high-quality work
that aligns with brand guidelines while exploring fresh ideas and effective creative solutions.

Advantageous skills

The following experience would be beneficial, but is not essential:

  • Experience creating short-form video content, including simple video editing and motion graphics using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to responsibly explore, approved AI tools such as Adobe Firefly to support design workflows, improve efficiency and enhance creative development where appropriate.
  • Experience working with corporate brands, brand guidelines or global marketing teams.
  • Experience adapting creative work for multiple markets, regions or stakeholder groups

Please share a portfolio that tells the story of your design journey and showcases your best work across relevant formats such as branding, campaign assets, whitepapers, e-guides, social media campaigns, infographics, presentations, event collateral and motion or video projects, if applicable.

Where possible, show how you have taken an idea from brief to final execution, how you approached layout and typesetting, and how your design work made an impact.
