The organisation is committed to driving positive change through data-driven solutions, offering you the chance to collaborate with knowledgeable professionals, access flexible working opportunities, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact businesses and communities alike. Whether you are at a junior or senior level, your expertise will be valued as you help establish robust frameworks, promote responsible AI use, and support both internal teams and external clients on their journey towards excellence in data and AI governance.

  • Be part of a rapidly growing start-up environment where your contributions directly influence organisational success and industry standards for data and AI governance.
  • Enjoy flexible working opportunities that support your work-life balance while collaborating with supportive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Work on impactful projects that foster ethical AI practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in data quality for a wide range of clients.

What you'll do:

As a Data and Artificial Intelligence Governance Specialist based in Taguig, you will immerse yourself in a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing best practices in both data management and artificial intelligence. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing detailed frameworks that set the standard for how information is handled securely and ethically across the organisation. You will work hand-in-hand with various teams—ranging from IT security experts to business leaders—to ensure that every aspect of data usage aligns with current regulations while also supporting business goals. By establishing clear metrics for quality assurance, providing essential training sessions on stewardship responsibilities, maintaining up-to-date metadata catalogues for easy access by stakeholders, designing robust risk management protocols for AI systems, engaging directly with clients to tailor solutions to their needs, facilitating committee discussions on governance matters, preparing insightful reports for senior management review, staying abreast of emerging trends in the field—and always seeking ways to enhance existing processes—you will be instrumental in fostering a culture where ethical use of technology is paramount. Your efforts will not only safeguard sensitive information but also empower colleagues across departments to make informed decisions rooted in trustworthiness.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive frameworks for data governance, including policies, standards, and procedures tailored to organisational needs.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities for data governance across all departments to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish robust metrics and key performance indicators to monitor, assess, and enhance data quality throughout the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with data stewards and owners to identify, address, and resolve any issues related to data quality by implementing effective profiling, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, training, and awareness programmes to empower data stewards in fulfilling their responsibilities within established governance structures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data security and privacy policies by monitoring compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR or CCPA in partnership with IT and security teams.
  • Design and maintain metadata management strategies that improve data discovery, usability, accuracy, accessibility, and documentation for all stakeholders.
  • Create and enforce an AI governance framework that includes policies for ethical use, transparency, explainability, bias mitigation, and responsible deployment of AI models.
  • Establish risk management processes specific to AI systems by identifying potential risks, monitoring system performance, ensuring compliance with governance policies, and integrating ethical practices into development lifecycles.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their unique challenges in data and AI governance; design customised solutions; provide ongoing support; facilitate committee meetings; prepare reports; drive consensus; stay updated on industry trends; identify process improvements; foster a culture of quality.
