What you'll do:

• Act as a subject matter expert on power generation data transformation, providing insights into asset lifecycle activities and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
• Serve as a vital link between technical teams and power generation experts from client organisations, translating functional requirements into actionable outcomes.
• Offer valuable guidance on achieving business objectives through data-centric approaches, leveraging asset management and reliability engineering principles.
• Support pre-sales activities including workshops, demonstrations, proofs of concept, evaluations, and benchmarks by addressing technical challenges early in the sales cycle.
• Assist with responding to RFIs/RFQs by contributing functional and technical expertise while mapping out effective solution strategies.
• Participate in developing new product demonstrations and proof of concepts tailored to diverse customer operating environments.
• Contribute to defining future strategy by enhancing pre-sales methodologies and strengthening value propositions for clients.
• Design comprehensive solution architectures and produce detailed documentation in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Work closely with technical delivery teams to scope out feasible project designs that can be delivered efficiently within set timelines and budgets.
• Champion process simplification by identifying inefficiencies in existing workflows and implementing improvements that enhance overall effectiveness.

What you bring:

• A background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any applied engineering or science discipline provides a strong foundation for success in this role.
• Holding or pursuing a Master’s degree is highly regarded as it demonstrates advanced knowledge relevant to complex problem-solving environments.
• Certifications such as CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) or CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) are considered advantageous for candidates seeking to stand out.
• At least five years’ experience working within plant environments across multiple industries equips you with deep understanding of industrial project life cycles related to data acquisition and processing.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI or Looker Studio enables you to effectively manage large datasets and create insightful visualisations for stakeholders.
• A minimum of one year’s hands-on experience with industrial data platforms such as APM (Asset Performance Management), AVEVA PRISM, Plant Historians or DCS/SCADA systems is essential for navigating complex operational landscapes.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about machine learning techniques and other AI technologies shows your commitment to staying current with technological advancements.
• A focus on continuous learning—particularly around AI—and willingness to collaborate with data science teams ensures you remain adaptable within evolving industrial spaces.
• Excellent interpersonal skills foster effective collaboration across diverse teams within both internal groups and external partners throughout the wider network.
• Fluency in Cebuano or Bisaya is considered an asset that enhances communication within local contexts.
