A Senior MI Analyst role supporting the recruitment function of a leading global financial services organisation, focused on recruitment data, reporting, dashboards, data quality, and stakeholder management.

We are looking for a Senior MI Analyst to support the recruitment function of a leading global financial services organisation. The role will focus on management information (MI), recruitment data, reporting, and analytics, helping the business maintain accurate data and generate meaningful insights for internal stakeholders and clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Excel-based dashboards and reporting tools, managing regular reporting cycles, analysing recruitment data, and ensuring data quality across recruitment systems. The role will also work closely with recruiters, administrators, account teams, and other stakeholders to resolve data issues and support governance, SLA and KPI reporting.

This is a data and reporting-focused role within the recruitment/HR function, making it suitable for candidates with experience in recruitment data, HR analytics, RPO, shared services, MI, or business reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain accurate, user-friendly Excel dashboards and reporting tools that meet business requirements and established standards.
  • Manage regular weekly and monthly reporting schedules, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and cross-functional teams, understanding reporting requirements and providing appropriate data solutions.
  • Extract, validate, and cleanse data from core recruitment systems to produce reliable reporting outputs.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reconciliation reports to monitor data quality and support continuous improvement.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, working closely with recruiters, administrators, and coordinators to improve system accuracy.
  • Support the Reporting Manager with scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, providing insights for governance, performance reviews, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Analyse recruitment data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide reporting and analysis of financial metrics, including pricing, recruitment costs, and savings, to support commercial reporting.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting and data requests from internal teams, head office, and clients.
  • Investigate data-related issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements to prevent recurring issues.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build complex dashboards using nested, logical, conditional formulas and Boolean logic. (Essential)
  • Strong understanding of ATS, VMS, and CRM systems, including their data flows. (Essential)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at different levels. (Essential)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. (Essential)
  • Highly organised with strong time management, prioritisation, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong commitment to data accuracy, information governance, and adherence to established processes.
  • Collaborative and people-oriented approach, with an interest in analytics, technology, and evolving industry practices.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to understand contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and business metrics.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in MI/analytics, business reporting, recruitment data, HR analytics, or a client-focused environment. (Essential)
  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools using Excel and Power Query. (Essential)
