What you'll do:

As Security Data Loss Prevention Manager, you will play a central role in shaping the organisation’s approach to information protection. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with diverse teams across multiple regions to ensure robust defences against unauthorised access or misuse of sensitive data. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date security management systems while preparing insightful reports for executive audiences. By managing vendor relationships and overseeing the implementation of advanced DLP solutions at an enterprise level, you will help drive continuous improvement in security posture. Success in this role requires you to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical oversight while fostering strong partnerships throughout the business.

  • Oversee the Global Security Engineering team with responsibility for driving continuous improvement within the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programme.
  • Collaborate with business owners to ensure DLP initiatives are aligned with technical standards and organisational objectives.
  • Update and maintain the Information Security Management System to reflect evolving threats, technologies, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive executive-level reports detailing the current DLP posture for senior leadership review.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors providing DLP technologies, ensuring optimal performance and value.
  • Coordinate ad hoc travel as required to support global security operations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work closely with IT, compliance, legal, and other departments to foster effective cross-functional collaboration on security matters.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor DLP policies to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of enterprise-scale DLP tools such as Microsoft Purview and Proofpoint.
  • Provide expert guidance on data encryption, classification, labelling, and integrated data security services.

  • In-depth knowledge of DLP technologies such as Microsoft Purview and Proofpoint is required for effective oversight of technical implementations.
  • Experience creating, implementing, and monitoring DLP policies that meet both regulatory requirements and industry standards is vital.
  • A track record of successful enterprise vendor management—including contract negotiation and performance evaluation—is expected.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are necessary for conveying complex concepts clearly to both technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders.
