What you'll do:

As an Oracle Functional Specialist based in Makati, you will immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of Oracle Fusion Financials. Your responsibilities span managing incident tickets within SLA timelines, engaging actively with business users to understand their needs, adhering strictly to IT governance standards for demand management and change control. You will regularly assess risk exposures within your portfolio and propose effective mitigation strategies. Supporting annual audits will be integral to your role as you prepare documentation and facilitate assessments. You will structure improvements or lead projects focused on finance modules—balancing operational optimisation with user satisfaction. Hands-on configuration of Oracle Fusion applications ensures seamless integration with linked systems like Kyriba Treasury. Leveraging your project management skills, you will guide solution delivery from initial design through implementation and ongoing support. Your ability to present complex concepts clearly to senior audiences using modern communication tools will be key to fostering collaboration across teams.

  • Serve as the primary functional specialist for Oracle Fusion Financials, overseeing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Invoice Processing, Expense Management, Office Procurement, Advanced Access and Control, Reporting, and system linkages such as Kyriba Treasury, Payroll, banks, Hyperion, Fleet/Commercial.
  • Lead incident management processes by ensuring all service requests and change management tickets are resolved within agreed SLAs for the entire portfolio in scope.
  • Actively engage with business users and IT teams to manage requirements in accordance with corporate IT governance standards.
  • Adhere to IT Governance protocols including Demand Management via Change Control Board, standardised delivery solutions life cycle and service delivery frameworks.
  • Regularly review risk exposure related to finance systems portfolio and recommend control measures aligned with risk management principles.
  • Support annual internal and external audits by preparing documentation and facilitating assessments for all relevant finance modules.
  • Structure and implement improvements or projects revolving around Oracle Fusion Finance modules to optimise operational costs while maintaining high user satisfaction.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion applications hands-on to ensure seamless integration with other systems such as Kyriba Treasury.
  • Utilise project management methodologies to oversee solution delivery from design through implementation and BAU operations support.
  • Present conceptualised ideas efficiently within larger senior audiences using modern communication tools.

What you bring:

Your proven track record as an Oracle Functional Specialist demonstrates deep expertise in implementing and supporting finance systems within large organisations. With over ten years’ experience—including five years focused on Oracle Fusion—you bring comprehensive understanding of core financial modules alongside advanced configuration capabilities. Your academic background in Computer Science or Information Technology underpins your technical proficiency while certifications such as PMP validate your project management acumen. You excel at collaborating across multi-disciplined teams thanks to exceptional interpersonal skills; your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly makes you invaluable during stakeholder engagements. Experience supporting end-user environments has honed your solutions delivery process knowledge. Familiarity with SQL databases, OTBI reporting tools, BIP Reports and OIC further enhances your technical toolkit. Knowledge of FBDI/Web ADI integrations along with SOAP/REST protocols positions you as a versatile asset capable of navigating evolving technology landscapes. Your self-motivation drives continuous improvement while attention to detail ensures operational excellence.

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required for this position.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in implementation, management, and operations support of finance systems with at least 5 years dedicated to Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion including hands-on expertise in Core Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Invoice Processing, Expense Management, Office Procurement, Advanced Access and Control, Reporting.
  • Ability to serve as an expert resource in Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement processes including configuration tasks.
  • Experience supporting end-user environments with a focus on solutions delivery processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies demonstrated through successful solution delivery cycles.
  • Outstanding communication skills allowing you to support a wide range of users through clear presentations and collaborative engagement.
  • Self-motivated approach combined with detail-oriented mindset; passionate about strategic thinking with strong problem-solving aptitude.
  • Certification in PMP is mandatory; ITIL Foundation certification is considered a plus.
  • Experience in technologies such as SQL, Oracle ERP Cloud OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), BIP Reports (Business Intelligence Publisher), OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of FBDI (File-Based Data Import)/ Web ADI (Application Desktop Integrator), SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and REST integration is highly desirable.
