Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong focus on project work. This role offers the opportunity to build, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure while supporting monitoring and management platforms across various environments. The successful candidate will be proactive, capable of problem-solving independently, and possess excellent communication skills to lead technical discussions with customers.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and deploying both physical and virtual networks. You will be responsible for delivering new services to customers while providing third-line support for any issues that arise. Your collaboration with project managers, internal teams, and direct interaction with customers will be key to addressing their business needs effectively. Managing customer expectations and ensuring smooth execution of projects will also fall under your purview.

With at least 10 years' experience in the field, you have honed your skills in customer-facing roles within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Your proven ability to translate both business and technical requirements into tangible project deliverables sets you apart from others. Your experience working on complex IT projects alongside project teams is invaluable. Your technical expertise spans across various networking technologies including HPE/Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Teltonika among others. Additionally, your knowledge of Cloud Networking particularly Microsoft Azure and VMware is essential.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in networking with a strong focus on customer-facing roles
• Extensive experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Proven ability to translate business and technical requirements into project deliverables
• Experience working in project teams delivering complex, medium-to-large-scale IT projects
• Technical expertise in networking technologies such as multi-vendor experience (HPE/Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Teltonika)
• Cloud Networking Expertise: Microsoft Azure networking (Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, NSGs, VPN Gateway), VMware networking (NSX, VCF, private cloud environments)
