What you'll do:

As a Cloud and Network Security Architect, you will take ownership of designing resilient architectures that protect vital information assets in complex cloud environments. • Oversee the operation, configuration, and optimisation of advanced cloud security toolsets including CNAPP technologies.
• Create detailed solution documentation for all aspects of cloud network security implementations, ensuring clarity for both technical teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technology specialists, business professionals, lawyers, and clients to deliver integrated security solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on network security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to global operations.
• Support incident response activities by analysing potential threats within cloud environments and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Participate in ad hoc travel as required to support project delivery or stakeholder engagement across different locations.

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience demonstrating deep technical proficiency in IT security.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-level cloud security solutions within large organisations.
• Proven expertise with Microsoft cloud security tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Demonstrated success deploying enterprise-grade CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) and CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) solutions.
• Advanced skills configuring and troubleshooting network security components including security groups, network ACLs, load balancers within public or hybrid clouds.
• Comprehensive understanding of IAM (Identity Access Management) solutions with preferred experience in Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Strong application and network risk assessment capabilities enabling you to identify gaps in configuration or design before they become issues.
• Exceptional analytical abilities paired with excellent written and verbal English communication skills suitable for conveying technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of network security frameworks as well as regulatory compliance standards applicable to multinational enterprises.
