What you'll do:

• Deep understanding of vulnerability management processes including scanning tools selection, patch management strategies, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting.
• Hands-on expertise supporting incident response activities—analysing threats quickly while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud-native security features (IAM policies, encryption methods, network segmentation) as well as traditional perimeter defences for hybrid architectures.
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to mentor junior engineers while fostering co-operation among cross-functional teams focused on shared objectives.
• Excellent written communication abilities for producing clear documentation covering architecture decisions, operational runbooks, incident reports, and policy updates.
