IT Support Specialist

A leading organisation in the Philippines is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role offers you the opportunity to play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless IT operations for both onsite and remote users. You will provide timely technical support, maintain IT systems and infrastructure, and help ensure employees have reliable technology and tools to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain and update IT hardware, systems, and infrastructure.
• Manage IT onboarding, including equipment setup, user accounts, and training.
• Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance.
• Maintain IT documentation, policies, and SOP compliance.
• Support regional IT initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and upgrades.
• Develop user guides and training materials.
• Recommend infrastructure improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of IT support experience in a user support environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Experience with Windows Server, Windows OS, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as Ping, Nslookup, and PuTTY.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions is an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and training skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide high-quality user support.
