If you are passionate about engineering, enjoy connecting with clients, and thrive in roles where your input truly matters, this is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career.
- Become the trusted technical advisor for a major telecoms operator, managing end-to-end solution design and delivery while building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Enjoy flexible hybrid working arrangements in Makati, with opportunities to collaborate globally and contribute to high-impact projects that shape the future of telecommunications.
- Work within a knowledgeable and supportive team environment that encourages training opportunities, professional development, and inclusive practices for all employees.
What you'll do:
As a Solutions Architect based in Makati, you will play a pivotal role in bridging technical expertise with client needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve being deeply embedded within the client's operations—understanding their challenges, translating their requirements into actionable plans, and guiding them through every step of solution delivery. You will work collaboratively with global teams to ensure that each project is scoped accurately and executed efficiently. Success in this role requires not only strong engineering skills but also excellent interpersonal abilities; you must be able to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences while maintaining a dependable presence throughout each engagement. By identifying risks early and keeping stakeholders informed, you help foster trust and ensure smooth project execution. Your contributions will directly impact how enterprise solutions are designed and delivered for one of the region's most significant telecoms partners.
- Act as the client's primary technical contact across network, product, IT, field services, and commercial teams, ensuring seamless communication and understanding between all parties involved.
- Translate complex technical requests from the client into clear, prioritised requirements that can be easily understood by both technical and non-technical teams within the organisation.
- Design comprehensive end-to-end solutions spanning devices, networks, and platforms; document architectural decisions thoroughly for development teams to implement effectively.
- Collaborate closely with global development and strategy teams to determine project scope, prioritise features, and plan technical work according to business objectives.
- Identify potential technical risks early in the project lifecycle and proactively communicate updates or mitigation strategies to the client to maintain trust and transparency.
- Present recommendations confidently to clients and internal stakeholders, adapting explanations to suit varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Work independently to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and oversee deployment processes with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability throughout each stage.
- Support ongoing client relationships by providing expert guidance on new technologies such as 5G/fixed wireless or device firmware when relevant.
- Champion collaborative problem-solving by engaging cross-functional teams in discussions that lead to effective outcomes for both clients and internal partners.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Solutions Architect position brings substantial experience from customer-facing engineering roles within enterprise environments. Your background demonstrates not only deep technical proficiency but also an ability to connect empathetically with clients—understanding their needs and responding thoughtfully. You have worked alongside development teams before, helping translate business requirements into practical solutions while maintaining sensitivity towards stakeholder priorities. Your interpersonal skills allow you to build rapport quickly across diverse groups; whether explaining architecture diagrams or discussing deployment timelines, you make information accessible without losing detail. Experience in telecommunications or related fields adds further value by equipping you with industry-specific insights that enhance your advisory capabilities. Above all else, your dependability ensures that projects progress smoothly from conception through completion.
- At least five years of hands-on experience in a technical role such as software engineering, network engineering or systems engineering where customer interaction was integral.
- Proven track record working with large enterprise or telecommunications clients involving multiple stakeholder groups with varied interests.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with development teams on scoping, prioritising, and planning technical work aligned with business goals.
- Exceptional communication skills enabling you to explain intricate ideas clearly to both technical specialists and non-technical decision makers.
- Comfortable taking responsibility for problems from initial diagnosis through solution deployment without requiring close supervision or oversight.
- Experience presenting recommendations confidently in client-facing situations while adapting messaging for different audiences.
- Bonus: Familiarity with telecommunications technologies including telco infrastructure, 5G/fixed wireless networks, CPE (Customer Premises Equipment), or device firmware development is highly desirable.
