Software Engineer

Our client is a comprehensive solutions provider for the Global Banking and Financial Services Industry.

What you'll do:

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a team that designs and develops software solutions for the Financial Services Industry. You will utilize your skills in Java Development along with your knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, JWT and OAuth2.0 to ensure the highest level of application security. Your experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD will be crucial in this role as well as your familiarity with AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Your ability to write unit tests using JUnit, TestNG or similar frameworks will be highly valued.

• Develop software using Java 1.8 or higher.
• Utilize Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud) in development.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Ensure application security with JWT and OAuth2.0.
• Write unit tests using JUnit, TestNG or similar frameworks.
• Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Work with AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Utilize String Builder, String Buffer and Hibernate Java in development.
• Experience with Angular 7+ and TypeScript is an added advantage.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Software Engineer role will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or any related courses. You should have at least 5 years of working experiences in Java Development and a background in the Financial/Banking Industry would be an advantage. Your ability to work in Makati (Hybrid set-up) is crucial. You should have 5+ years of experience in software development with Java, Java 1.8 or higher and proven experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud). Your strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes along with your experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ will be highly valued.
