What you'll do:
As a Robotic Process Automation Engineer based in Makati, you will play a pivotal role in transforming internal business processes through advanced automation technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing robust solutions using Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate), Dataverse, Python or .NET programming languages, as well as integrating AI capabilities like Copilot Studio. You will collaborate closely with other engineers within a ten-member team structure—sharing insights across AI, RPA, and SharePoint pillars—to ensure seamless workflow optimisation. Success in this role requires you to proactively troubleshoot issues logged by users, participate in project planning sessions with stakeholders from various departments, create detailed documentation for all automations developed or enhanced, test new features thoroughly before deployment, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. By evaluating emerging AI tools for integration into existing workflows—including IDP platforms—you will help drive innovation while maintaining high standards of security and compliance. Your ability to connect with colleagues in a communal environment will be key to identifying new opportunities for process optimisation.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation solutions built on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and the Power Platform to streamline business operations and improve user experience.
- Deliver AI-enabled automation capabilities by integrating tools such as Copilot and orchestration patterns that enable workflows to reason, route, and act with human-in-the-loop controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by internal users efficiently while ensuring security, compliance, and responsible AI practices are maintained at all times.
- Participate actively in ideation, planning, testing, and rollout phases of automation projects alongside cross-functional teams.
- Create comprehensive documentation for all solutions and processes to ensure clarity and continuity within the team.
- Test new automation features rigorously and provide constructive feedback to enhance solution quality.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different pillars to identify automation opportunities and assess feasibility for implementation.
- Evaluate and implement AI tools that complement RPA solutions; design intelligent document processing (IDP) and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities into workflows.
- Integrate automation solutions with APIs and various data sources to maximise efficiency and connectivity across internal tools.
- Contribute to governance efforts by ensuring best practices in SharePoint architecture adoption, Power Platform development, version control systems usage, and test automation frameworks.

- A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field—or equivalent experience demonstrating technical proficiency.
- At least five years of hands-on experience delivering automation using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dataverse within enterprise environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python or .NET (C#), enabling you to build scalable automation solutions tailored to business needs.
- Extensive familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite including SharePoint Online information architecture (permissions management, sites/lists/libraries) plus governance/customisation using SPFx.
- Proven understanding of version control systems such as GitHub or Code Build for managing codebase integrity throughout project lifecycles.
- Experience working collaboratively within teams that value unit testing/acceptance testing; familiarity with test automation tools/frameworks is essential.
- Excellent analytical abilities paired with empathetic problem-solving skills that support both technical troubleshooting and interpersonal communication.
- Experience considered an advantage: Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks/libraries (e.g., Copilot Studio or Azure OpenAI Service) enhances your ability to deliver agentic automations.
