Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with project teams to design robust solutions tailored to business needs. You will leverage your expertise to guide stakeholders through complex decisions regarding system configuration and process optimisation. By facilitating workshops and analysing requirements, you will ensure that each solution is fit-for-purpose while maintaining alignment with best practices. Building strong inter-personal connections across departments will be essential as you coordinate with IT professionals and manage third-party supplier relationships. Additionally, you will nurture junior talent through mentoring activities while contributing thought leadership within the Workday practice. Success in this role requires a commitment to continuous improvement, proactive engagement with stakeholders at all levels, and an enthusiasm for creating a supportive team environment.
- Take ownership of one or more functional areas within Workday projects from initial design through to deployment as part of a dedicated project team.
- Develop and maintain deep subject-matter expertise in either Absence or Benefits modules to inform decisions made by business stakeholders and support teams.
- Contribute actively to the HR Solutions delivery roadmap by engaging in regular development cycles and facilitating release management.
- Conduct gap analysis to advise on process improvements and solution design, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Lead workshops to solicit requirements, challenge assumptions constructively, analyse data, and configure solutions within Workday.
- Build constructive relationships with application teams, infrastructure specialists, service management professionals, and the broader IT department to ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborate effectively with third-party suppliers to secure additional resources or expertise for relevant projects while managing these partnerships for optimal delivery.
- Mentor junior colleagues through career coaching and guidance, fostering their professional growth within the team.
- Inspire others by maintaining a positive team atmosphere that encourages sharing knowledge and making the workplace enjoyable.
