IT Auditor

We are looking for an experienced IT Auditor to assess IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting IT audits, identifying potential risks and control gaps, and recommending improvements to strengthen information security, operational efficiency, and overall IT governance.

The role will also involve supporting ISO implementation, audit, and certification activities, where applicable, and communicating audit findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, systems, processes, and information security practices.

• Identify IT risks, control gaps, and areas of non-compliance, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

• Support ISO implementation, internal audits, external audits, and certification activities, as applicable.

• Review IT policies, procedures, documentation, and controls to ensure alignment with established standards and best practices.

• Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports, documenting findings, risks, and recommendations.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address audit findings and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.

• Communicate audit results and technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to IT governance, risk management, compliance, and information security.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant IT Audit experience.

• Experience in ISO implementation, auditing, or certification is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of IT controls, risk assessment, audit methodologies, and information security practices.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant certifications are preferred, such as:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

  • ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 9001, or ISO 45001 certifications or auditor qualifications.
