What you'll do:

As a Conflicts Management Supervisor based in Taguig, you will be entrusted with overseeing critical aspects of the conflicts management process within a global professional services environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close coordination with both local and international colleagues as you help manage incoming requests related to potential conflicts of interest. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also strong interpersonal skills that enable you to nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Assist both the team and management by responding to technical queries related to identifying and analysing potential conflicts of interest for new business matters.
  • Monitor the Conflicts Management Request queue volumes diligently, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining exceptional service standards at all times.
  • Manage daily work tasks efficiently so that deadlines are consistently met while upholding the highest quality of service delivery within the team.
  • Support team management activities as required, including collaborating with other supervisors and leads globally to enhance the overall service offering.

  • Develop and support Lean Six Sigma (LSS) initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of conflicts management processes within the department.
  • Lead regular team meetings focused on achieving objectives, fostering open communication, and driving collective success among all team members.
  • Contribute actively to strategies designed to boost team morale and facilitate effective team building through positive engagement initiatives.
  • Administer holiday schedules, sick leave requests, and other time-off approvals for your dedicated team members while ensuring accurate record keeping in local or global systems.
  • Review employee performance goals regularly for each team member, liaising with management as needed for performance evaluations and maintaining comprehensive records.

What you bring:

To excel as a Conflicts Management Supervisor, your background should reflect proven experience in managing complex administrative processes within either legal or professional services environments. Your educational achievements demonstrate your dedication to learning while previous exposure to conflict checks or similar compliance functions provides valuable context for this specialised area. Supervisory experience—especially on an international scale—will have equipped you with the sensitivity needed for cross-cultural collaboration as well as the ability to motivate others towards common goals. Your skill set should include advanced organisational abilities; adeptness at balancing competing demands; keen attention to detail; and proficiency in using digital tools for record-keeping or data entry. Soft skills such as empathy, patience, discretion when handling confidential matters, and clear communication are equally important since they underpin successful stakeholder engagement both internally and externally. Ultimately, your ability to combine technical know-how with genuine care for people’s development will set you apart in this rewarding leadership position.

  • Possession of an undergraduate degree which demonstrates your commitment to academic achievement and foundational knowledge relevant to this field.
  • Previous experience handling conflicts of interest within either a legal or professional services setting is highly desirable as it equips you with practical insights into industry-specific challenges.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience gained in a global environment enables you to effectively guide diverse teams towards shared objectives while respecting cultural differences.
  • A strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensures that you can monitor progress accurately and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with various roles within a dedicated team allows you to provide informed oversight for senior management regarding individual performance metrics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities combined with critical thinking skills empower you to identify areas for process enhancement while maintaining analytical rigour.
  • Excellent time management capabilities paired with organisational acumen enable you to juggle multiple priorities efficiently even under pressure.
  • A pragmatic approach coupled with an even temperament helps you maintain composure during challenging situations while fostering harmonious working relationships within your team.
