What you'll do:

As the Information and Cyber Security Deputy Practice Leader, you will be instrumental in shaping the operational landscape of a global security function. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and oversee critical transition projects that enhance service delivery. You will be responsible for establishing effective governance frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory standards while monitoring key performance indicators to guide decision-making. In addition to managing capacity planning efforts, you will play an active role in developing talent through coaching, mentoring, and structured performance reviews. By partnering with HR on talent management strategies and contributing to broader business unit planning alongside international colleagues, you will help set the direction for future growth.   • Lead work transition activities for the Information Security team, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and integration of new processes or responsibilities.
  • Oversee process enhancement projects by conducting GAP analysis, developing future-state processes, and identifying training needs to support team capability building.
  • Maintain robust governance structures and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor key metrics to track progress against strategic objectives, regularly evaluating team performance and service delivery outcomes.
  • Establish and continuously review performance measurement structures that drive accountability and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with interviewing, selecting, mentoring, and developing team members while serving as an escalation point for operational issues within the department.

  • Proven experience in organisational effectiveness initiatives such as implementing best practices or process enhancements is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are needed to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation while influencing positive outcomes through collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities are required for evaluating complex situations and making informed recommendations under pressure.
