What you'll do:

As a Scrum Master based in Alabang, you will be at the heart of Agile delivery for cross-functional teams developing advanced web-based platforms. Your day-to-day activities will revolve around guiding teams through Agile ceremonies, coaching them on best practices, and ensuring that everyone is aligned towards shared objectives. • Facilitate all key Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and progress.
• Coach development teams on best practices in Agile methodologies, helping them embrace Scrum principles and frameworks for optimal performance.
• Identify potential obstacles early on and proactively remove roadblocks to maintain smooth project delivery and foster a positive team environment.
• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined and prioritised product backlog that aligns with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Promote a culture of transparency by measuring and communicating key team performance metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint health indicators.
• Encourage accountability within the team while nurturing an atmosphere of continuous improvement through regular feedback loops and process enhancements.
• Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders by facilitating clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate efforts with Quality Assurance, DevOps, and engineering teams to guarantee high-quality releases that meet or exceed organisational standards.
• Champion collaboration, knowledge sharing, and empowerment across all phases of software development to drive successful outcomes for every project.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related discipline providing you with a solid technical foundation for understanding complex software projects.
• At least five years’ hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager within software development environments demonstrating your ability to guide teams effectively.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or XP along with familiarity with software development life cycle processes.
• Excellent facilitation skills enabling you to run productive meetings while encouraging participation from all team members regardless of background or seniority.
• Outstanding communication abilities allowing you to bridge gaps between technical staff and business stakeholders with empathy and clarity.
• Proven capability in conflict resolution ensuring harmonious collaboration even when challenges arise during project delivery cycles.
• Experience using Agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps which supports efficient tracking of tasks and progress reporting for distributed teams.
