Transforming Tsavo with Global Angels
Working with the community to build a sustainable future
Since 2017, Robert Walters has partnered with the Global Angels Foundation to support the Itinyi Valley community in Tsavo, Kenya, working together to empower the local people to build a sustainable future.
We fund key projects to provide life-giving water for drinking and agriculture, develop drought-proof farming techniques to ensure food security and improve access to education for children and for the community to help them build skills and small businesses.
We’re committed to playing an active role in transforming Tsavo — not only by raising money for key projects, but also by sending employees to volunteer to work on key projects with Global Angels in Kenya.
Meet Jackson, Tsavo project manager
Jackson Mwanza has been part of the Global Angels programme since the start of the Robert Walters partnership, first as a builder and then as youth worker.
Working with Global Angels, who gave him the support and training to develop his leadership, people management and project management skills, Jackson progressed to Farm Manager and then Tsavo Project Manager. He is also a Director of Global Angels Kenya, and his ambition is to create a training centre for regenerative farming helping to build a sustainable future for generations to come.
